There isn't enough talk about the importance of drinking water in trying to reach your fitness goals. Water hydrates the body first and foremost, but water is also an important way to trick your body into thinking it's full.

Other drinks don't work nearly as well as water in this endeavor and many drinks, even fruit juices, contain empty calories that you can't sustain when on a diet.

Another advantage of drinking enough water when dieting is that it helps your skin keep its suppleness, preventing "flabby skin" appearances. often accompany massive weight loss. As an added bonus, drinking plenty of water will make your skin look radiant and beautiful too.

Set goals

Setting goals is one of the most important things you can do when working to lose weight. Try to make sure your goals are aggressive but achievable. If you get frustrated early in the dieting process due to unrealistic goals, you are more likely to give up. However, challenges will always inspire us to achieve greater things in life.

If you can find a "weight loss partner" in order to have a little friendly competition for your weight loss totals for a week or a month, you are more likely to achieve your goals than if you quietly keep them to yourself.
